Can’t complain if you’re not going to do anything
I liked the ‘bad’ guys when I worked criminal
The ‘upfront’ as*h*les were the best
They were honest, raw, hardcore, and authentic
In that they were true to who and what they were
Now make no mistake, I may not have agreed with
their methodology, or philosophical take on criminal life
Or the actions thereof, yet it was not shrouded or ‘fake’
No lies – it was a choice
The thing about people is the choice
To be upfront, the cost
Judgement, being different, despised
Set aside for being over the top
The ‘nice’ people, the palatable, agreeable, never take a stand
You don’t really know – many can be the most dangerous of all
Isn’t that what Chr*st meant by wolf in sheep’s clothing?
